June, 2003: Building and Sustaining a Great Downtown Neighborhood

MISSION: Identify and evaluate specific internal or external situations that have potential impacts on our neighborhood and, when appropriate, develop specific recommendations and action plans for review by the Neighborhood Council and community as a whole.

POINT OF VIEW: Public opinion does make a difference.

OBJECTIVES:

• Develop and maintain relationships with other community organizations, city administration and elected and appointed officials.

• Encourage members of our community to get involved in civic activities outside the neighborhood
