Jenkins Memorial Church

Neighborhood Mural

Matching grant application to include the mural/signage/median is being prepared by Chris and considered Tuesday the 16th. We’ll know results on the 17th.

We receive 16.05/hour in sweat equity matching and donated time and materials cost.

Voted on and approved the artist's proposal from Kellie and Autumn.

Street Signs

Mary Craven contacted Dan’s Signs and got a quote of 80/sf. This was voted on and approved and Dan will get us concepts to look at.

Block Party
was approved for May 15/16th. Later amended to be May 22nd.

Peggy Upchurch reported on the development of a Food Pantry by Jenkins Memorial.

The H.A.N.D.S. Truck Special Pickup (The "Pink Truck") is scheduled to be in our neighborhood on Thursday, April 20th. Items to the curb by 7:00 AM, please. They will pick up things like old appliances, air conditioners, furniture, large household items - pretty much anything that you'd normally have to haul yourself to the landfill. However, NO oil, paint, tires, or other hazardous materials will be picked up.

Neighborhood Canvassing

Idea was floated and approved that plans be made to go around to our neighbors and record their names, numbers, and addresses if they'd like to be included in a neighborhood phone directory.
