Update on T- Shirt Sales- Jill Averitt
Jill gave us an update of the printing costs for the proposed 100 Year Anniversary
T-shirts. Group decided on final quantity including color and sizes of T-shirts.
Group voted on and approved final design for t-shirt created by Jill.

April 30th Neighborhood Pick Picking Update
• Vendor will provide pig and will do the cooking
• Ask neighbors to bring the sides and drinks and ice
• Jan- ask Dennis about permits
• Association provides plates, cups, meat and cups, and Keg. Jen to
double check on amounts
• Tables from the church. LeAnn to ask Peggy if we can get the tables.
• Christina to ask Jim about the band that played last year.
• LeAnn to ask the playgroup to organize something for the kids- Jen
has Face paint
• Jen to ask Steve of the Connells if they will play

Year Celebration Update- Rhett Fussell
Rhett held a successful initial planning meeting at Averitt’s house.

Decided to scale event down into two events:
1. Texas Hold Em poker tournament to be held in conjunction with local charity
along with other sponsors to raise money for 100 Year Celebration Party.
2. 100 Year Celebration Party to be held after Tour of Homes
• Tap into local charity and run the event with that charity along with
other sponsors.
• Going to get more people if tie in with Charity
• Profits go to charity and to 100 Year Party after the Tour at another
location.
• By next meeting Rhett will have more information from sponsors
• Pre-registration only for Poker tournament.
• Sponsors will provide prizes
• Tentative Date is October 8th for Poker Tournament.
• Potential Charities: Boys and Girls Club of North Carolina –

• Email to the neighborhood
• If have a hardship or need a truck, neighborhood will provide assistance
in getting items to the parking lot
• Pre- arrange the Vietnam Vets
• Pair up with the Church- bake sale.. contribute items
• Promote idea that these things – fundraisers- go back to the
community- signs, median clean up.
• Promote that it is a Neighborhood Yard Sale
• Advertise in Paper
