Proposed Bylaw Amendments

1. Combining Outreach & Communications
2. At-Large seat: Keep or lose this role, given that the requirements are ill-defined?
3. Communications Chair: Do we elevate to Council seat or create a secretary position? (In requirements, not necessarily in 'name')
4. Have three officers: President / Vice-President / VP- Communications
5. Terms- equality between experience and "new blood"
6. Appoint a chair for the Historic Tour (Jen Attride suggested and acting for '03)


 

Discussion of plans for the Fall Fling


Signs- discussion of "neighborhood signs" for the houses, blocks, the mural initiative, street sign hangers. Chris, Jill to take point on the house and median signs. Gather info on time, cost, etc. and also matching funds from city.

Brooks said to want to spearhead the mural project. No activity on this to date.

Group to meet prior to November meeting to discuss options


Playground- Parks & Rec having meetings on the Master Plan. Jeff Cherry proposing an amendment on our behalf.


Traffic Calming- Julie French from Five Points CAC spearheading efforts in our area. Phil suggests a $50.00 donation from the HGBNA to help defray the cost of the "Are You Speeding" signs that benefitted us all. Her cost was some $450.00.
